Plog Day 5: Oops, I did it again.

Not funny? Ok. Well, I missed another day. I planned on getting a photo up yesterday but just didn't get to it. Not really making that up to you today with this weak shot, am I? *sigh*

Here it is, today's picture. I am calling it "Time To Work". I'm just sitting at my desk, waiting for class to start. Got here way way way too early today, traffic did it. Plus, I didn't stop to get dinner. SO, enjoy.

Oh! For anyone who's wondering "why is your water pink?!?"... that water contains as much caffeine as 6 (six) cups of coffee. MMMMM tasty (and sugar-free).

Plog Day 3: Oh noes! A werewolf@!

Picture taken and converted via photoshop. Taken today, my niece playing with a new werewolf mask we picked up for Halloween.

Pretty nice mask, my dog hates it though. Not bad for $7, that's for sure.

Woohoo! Two Picture-A-Day pictures in a row. I'm on a roll.

Plog Day 2: Red Rock Nevada

Ok ok. It is actually Day 3. I missed day 2. I got some test photos yesterday, but nothing really worth posting. Today though, spent about 5 hours or so taking photos with my Canon 40D out in the Red Rock conservation area. My husband's coworkers were rock climbing, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some pictures.

I'll be getting some of them in my practice album probably tomorrow, but here is one that shows you why it is called Red Rock.

Plog Day 1: Sssnnaaake!

Well, sittin at work working. Just thought I'd take a short break and post my very first Plog. This is a picture of a snake fingerpuppet that sits on my desk. In front of him is a little mouse I made. The mouse is about 1/2 inch long, so that should give you some idea as to the size.

Snapped this picture with my Panasonic LX2. A great "carry everywhere" supplement camera to my Canon 40D. What is so great about the LX2? Well, since you asked, let me school you...

The LX2 has many of the same features as a dSLR - except for the interchangeable lens part. The camera settings are Auto, Program, Scene, Apurature Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual, and Movie. It has a hard switch (not menus) for AF, Macro AF, and Manual Focus. It also has hard switch for photo sizes of 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9. Manual popup flash (rather than having to use a menu item, just close the flash and it won't auto-fire) The build quality is excellent and it is 10.1MP in 16:9 mode. MORE than enough room to make great prints if needed. Oh yeah, it also takes photos in RAW. Not too shabby for a pocket camera, eh?

OK..that's enough. Back to work.
